About The Founder
Andor Kesselman
Andor is a seasoned CTO and systems architect with deep expertise in decentralized systems and AI infrastructure. He has played a leading role in shaping the decentralized identity landscape, serving as Co-Chair of the Technical Steering Committee at the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF), Co-Chair of the Decentralized Web Node Working Group, and Co-Lead of the Trust Registry Task Force at the Trust Over IP Foundation (ToIP).
Prior to founding AgentOverlay, Andor led engineering at Pathr.ai and has been actively researching multi-agent systems since 2018. His early work on decentralized decision models (Dec-POMDPs) helped anticipate the complexities of the agentic era.
After meeting his wife while traveling the world for a year and a half, Andor spent six years working from India, deeply embedded in global open-source communities and standards development. He returned to the U.S. and settled in Palo Alto last year to launch AgentOverlay, bridging the worlds of verifiable identity, agent coordination, and enterprise security—creating the foundational trust layer for the AI-powered workforce.
Tobin South
Tobin brings deep expertise in secure AI agent systems and model control protocols through his work at WorkOS. As a Research Fellow at Stanford and former MIT PhD candidate, he combines academic rigor with practical implementation experience. His background includes being a Fulbright Scholar and VC Fellow, bringing a unique perspective on the intersection of AI security and enterprise adoption.
At WorkOS, Tobin focuses on Model Control Protocol (MCP) development and secure AI agent architectures. His research explores the fundamental challenges of AI alignment and security in distributed systems, making him a key contributor to AgentOverlay's approach to agent governance.
